The Nylon Screw-In Plastic Spiral Expansion Anchor with Countersunk Head is specifically designed for creating secure screw fixing points in wood panel materials including MDF, particle board, plywood, chipboard, and OSB where direct screwing can strip out over time. The nylon PA6 anchor is pre-installed into a pilot hole or screwed directly into wood panels, and its spiral thread profile creates a durable threaded insert that accepts standard screws. The countersunk head design allows the anchor to sit flush with the panel surface for a clean and professional finish.
Unlike metal threaded inserts that can split wood panels during installation, the nylon material deforms slightly to accommodate wood fiber density variations without damaging the panel. Ideal for furniture assembly, cabinet construction, MDF joinery, shelving, and flat-pack furniture applications, this anchor provides a reliable screw fixing point that can withstand repeated assembly and disassembly without thread stripping. Available in 6 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm with 25 mm to 50 mm lengths.
Features

Simple screw-in installation with a standard screwdriver or power screwdriver. Can be installed with or without pre-drilling depending on wood panel density. The spiral thread cuts into the wood panel material creating a secure thread path.
Available in 6 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm diameters with 25 mm to 50 mm body lengths. Accepts standard self-tapping screws for fixture attachment after anchor installation. Suitable for wood panel thicknesses from 12 mm and above.
