Non-Conductive Nylon Self-Tapping Drywall Anchor Cable Tray Fixing Spiral Plastic Fastener with High Shear Strength
Product Description
The 10mm x 50mm Non-Conductive Nylon Self-Tapping Drywall Anchor is an electrically safe plastic fastening solution engineered for cable tray, conduit bracket, and electrical trunking installations on plasterboard and drywall surfaces. The anchor body is made from electrically insulating PA6 nylon, providing a safe mounting option for electrical cable management where metal fasteners could pose short-circuit or grounding risks. Its sharp conical tip penetrates plasterboard cleanly without pre-drilling, while the deep spiral threads create a robust mechanical lock within the gypsum board structure. The wide collar base distributes lateral and shear loads evenly across the plasterboard surface, ensuring stable cable tray support over long service periods. Installation is straightforward: mark the position on the plasterboard, place the conical tip against the surface, and drive clockwise with a screwdriver or impact driver until the collar sits flush and firm resistance is felt.
Features
Electrically Safe Insulation - The fully non-conductive PA6 nylon body provides natural electrical insulation, making this anchor the safer choice for cable tray, conduit, and junction box mounting on plasterboard near electrical wiring where metal fasteners pose risks.
Reinforced Shear Resistance - The 10mm diameter body with full-length spiral threads delivers superior lateral load capacity up to 52kg in 12.5mm standard plasterboard, ideal for supporting cable trays and trunking carrying distributed cable weight.
Deep Plasterboard Thread Engagement - At 50mm length, the anchor reaches through the plasterboard face into the cavity beyond, where the spiral threads expand and lock firmly, creating a reliable anchor point even in older or slightly degraded gypsum board.
Wide Load-Spreading Collar - The reinforced wide collar face evenly distributes mounting pressure across the plasterboard surface, preventing localized crushing of the gypsum core and maintaining bracket alignment under continuous cable weight.
