Heavy Duty Nylon Self-Tapping Plasterboard Anchor Spiral Wall Plug for Handrail and Grab Bar Safety Mounting
Product Description
The Heavy Duty Nylon Self-Tapping Plasterboard Anchor is a rugged plastic fastening solution engineered for safety-critical handrail, grab bar, and accessibility fixture installations on plasterboard and double-layer drywall surfaces. The anchor features an impact-resistant PA6 nylon core that withstands sudden dynamic loads typical of handrail and grab bar usage, along with natural vibration-dampening properties that prevent anchor loosening over years of service on plasterboard walls. The deep spiral thread design maximizes surface contact within the gypsum board structure, creating a dependable mechanical lock that resists pull-out forces in both single and double-layer plasterboard installations. A flat disc base provides a flush bearing surface for clean, professional-looking installations. To install on plasterboard, mark the mounting position, position the conical tip, and drive clockwise with an impact driver until the disc base sits flush and firm resistance confirms proper seating.
Features
Impact-Absorbing Nylon Core - The specially formulated impact-resistant PA6 compound absorbs sudden shock loads from handrail grab events on plasterboard walls without cracking, maintaining anchor integrity in safety-critical applications where failure is not an option.
Seismic-Grade Vibration Control - The nylon body naturally dampens building vibrations transmitted through plasterboard walls from foot traffic and door slamming, preventing gradual anchor loosening that compromises safety grab bar reliability over time.
Progressive Thread Locking - Thread pitch gradually tightens toward the anchor head, concentrating grip density near the plasterboard surface where pull-out forces peak — a critical feature for handrail installations subject to repeated loading on gypsum walls.
Double-Layer Drywall Penetration - The 60mm length and 12mm diameter with deep spiral threads achieve strong mechanical interlock through single and double-layer plasterboard, delivering up to 42kg load capacity for safe handrail and grab bar anchoring.
