Product Description

The Pre-Assembled Nylon Expansion Plug Screw Set is a lightweight ceiling-mounted fastening solution engineered for light fixtures, ceiling lamps, smoke detectors, and small ceiling-mounted accessories on plasterboard and gypsum board surfaces. Each complete set includes a 6mm diameter PA6 nylon expansion plug pre-matched with an M4 x 30mm zinc-plated steel screw, providing a comprehensive fastener solution in a single ready-to-use pack.
 
Installation follows the classic expansion principle: drill a 6mm hole at the ceiling fixture mounting position, insert the nylon plug flush with the ceiling surface, mount the light fixture bracket, and drive the M4 screw upward into the plug. The screw's tapered cone section forces the nylon body to expand radially within the drill hole, creating a friction lock that holds the ceiling fixture securely against downward gravitational pull forces. The non-conductive nylon plug body provides essential electrical safety for light fixture installations where wiring is routed through or near the mounting point, eliminating any possibility of current conduction through the fastener.
