Product Description
The Self Centering Tapered Tip Plastic Wall Plug features a precision-molded conical nose that automatically guides the plug body into the borehole centerline during insertion, eliminating the common installation problem of the plug catching on the hole edge or entering at an angle. The tapered tip geometry is especially valuable for overhead ceiling installation where limited visibility and awkward working angles make precise plug alignment difficult — the conical nose self-centers into the hole even when the installer is working blind. Once the plug is seated flush, the standard nylon PA6 expansion body engages normally as the screw is tightened with a manual or electric driver. The nylon material delivers excellent toughness and tensile strength, stays permanently rust-free, and resists acid and alkali corrosion. Installation follows the standard workflow with the added convenience of the self-centering tip: drill a clean hole to the specified diameter, push the tapered plug toward the hole — the conical tip guides it in smoothly, then mount the screw on the front of the driver bit and rotate the handle clockwise to tighten.
