The Universal Dual-Use Plastic Wall Plug eliminates the need to stock separate anchors for solid and hollow walls. Its patented split-body expansion design combines two anchoring mechanisms in a single nylon PA6 plug: in solid substrates (brick, concrete), the screw drives through the plug causing standard radial expansion against the borehole wall; in hollow substrates (plasterboard, cavity wall), the plug body forms a knot-like deformation behind the wall panel as the screw is tightened, creating a positive mechanical lock. The high-toughness engineering plastic delivers outstanding tensile strength, stays naturally rust-free, and resists acid and alkali corrosion for reliable performance in humid bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor applications. Installation is identical for both substrate types: drill a clean hole to the specified diameter, insert the plug flush with the wall surface, mount the screw head on the driver bit, and rotate clockwise to tighten — the plug automatically adapts its anchoring mechanism based on the substrate type behind the wall.
