Sampling Methods
-Throat sampling: first press the tongue with the tongue plate, and then extend the swab swab into the throat to wipe the bilateral pharyngeal tonsils and posterior pharyngeal wall, avoid touching the tongue, gently turn the wipe to fully sample.
- Nasal sampling: the swab graft head is gently inserted into the nose and palate in the nasal canal, stay for 15-30 seconds and gently rotate 3-5 times, and pull out the swab. For bilateral nostrils samples, repeat with another swab.
Soak the sampling swab graft head in the storage fluid, break the sampling swab, and discard the sampling handle.
- Turn the tube cover immediately, mark the relevant sample information on the storage tube label or paste the bar code label.
