The HPE Aruba Networking X371 (JL085A) is a 250-watt AC power supply specifically designed for Aruba 2930M and 3810 series non-PoE switches -2-7. This modular, hot-pluggable power supply provides 12VDC output, making it suitable for powering switch operation and any attached modules in non-PoE switch configurations.

The JL085A features a compact form factor measuring 83.1mm width, 225.6mm depth, and 40.1mm height, with a weight of approximately 0.69 kg (1.52 lb) -5. Its hot-swappable design allows for installation or replacement without powering down the host switch, ensuring continuous network availability during maintenance operations.

The power supply is physically keyed to prevent installation in PoE switches, ensuring proper power supply matching -7. This design prevents accidental use of the 250W unit in PoE switches that require higher-capacity 54V power supplies (JL086A or JL087A). The JL085A is compatible with Aruba 2930M 24G 1-Slot, 2930M 48G 1-Slot, 3810M series non-PoE models, and select 6200F and 6300M models -8.

For high-availability configurations, a second JL085A power supply can be installed to provide 1+1 redundancy. If the power supplies are connected to different AC power sources, redundant power can be supplied in case of loss of one AC source -7.
