Threaded inserts are pre-embedded/inserted fasteners specifically designed for unthreaded substrates. Their core function is to implant standard internal threads into substrates such as plastics, wood, thin sheets, and die-cast aluminum—materials where direct tapping is impossible or insufficient—achieving a reliable threaded connection. They also reinforce threads, repair stripped teeth, and increase load-bearing capacity. Suitable for precision assembly, lightweight components, and fragile substrates, they are widely used in 3C electronics, automotive interiors, plastic molds, aerospace, and other fields.

Pre-embedded injection-molded threaded inserts (plastic substrate preferred)
Core principle: The insert is pre-embedded in the mold before injection molding. During injection, it fuses with the molten plastic to form a strong, integrated unit, eliminating the need for subsequent secondary processing.
