Differential Dynamic positioning eliminates the star clock error. For users 1000 km away from the reference station, it can eliminate the star clock error and tropospheric error, thus significantly improving the accuracy of Dynamic positioning.
However, in mobile navigation, the positioning accuracy of mobile GPS receivers is affected by satellite signal conditions and road environment, as well as many factors such as clock error, propagation error, receiver noise, etc. Therefore, using GPS navigation alone has problems of low positioning accuracy and low reliability. Therefore, in robot navigation applications, magnetic compasses, optical code disks, and GPS data are usually used for navigation. In addition, GPS navigation systems are not suitable for indoor or underwater robot navigation, as well as robot systems that require high positional accuracy.
