Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance, produced using world-leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements. When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, the Aitemag product provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, one may choose an Aitemag product of proper characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for the flame retardant compound.
Aitemag 10PA is a high purity magnesium hydroxide that is treated with functional polymers to provide easy flow and dispersion. This product, designed for use in polyolefins and elastomeric polymers, can enable favorable compounding rheology and processability. Flame retardant compounds made with Aitemag 10PA is characterized by high oxygen index values, suitable for the LSZH wire and cable insulation materials.
