8 Port Fast Ethernet PoE Switch, 8×100Mbps PoE + 2×100Mbps Uplink Ports, 80-120W Total Built-in Power, IEEE802.3af/at Unmanaged Fanless Metal PoE Switch for IP Camera, WiFi AP, VoIP Phone

Product Overview

This 10-port fast Ethernet PoE switch is a cost-effective unmanaged networking solution designed for medium-scale surveillance and commercial network systems. It features 8 dedicated 10/100Mbps PoE power supply ports and 2 independent 10/100Mbps uplink ports, with a built-in 120W high-efficiency PoE power budget. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at universal PoE standards, it supports simultaneous power delivery and data transmission through a single Ethernet cable, greatly simplifying on-site wiring and eliminating messy power adapters. The independent dual uplink ports isolate upstream and downstream network traffic, effectively preventing network congestion and stabilizing overall transmission performance. Adopting an all-metal fanless housing and plug-and-play design, it enables 24/7 uninterrupted silent operation without any software configuration. Ideal for office buildings, retail stores, villa surveillance, warehouse monitoring and small and medium-sized wireless network coverage scenarios.

Product Description

Optimize your medium-sized network deployment with this high-performance 8-port PoE switch, professionally configured with 8 PoE working ports and 2 exclusive uplink ports. All ports support 10/100Mbps fast Ethernet auto-negotiation, perfectly matching the transmission and power supply needs of mainstream PoE devices such as high-definition IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones and IoT terminals. Equipped with a built-in 120W high-power module, the switch can stably drive multiple PoE devices to work simultaneously, meeting the continuous operation demands of multi-point monitoring and wireless coverage systems.

Built-in intelligent PoE recognition technology enables automatic identification of PoE and non-PoE equipment. The switch only outputs power to standard IEEE802.3af/at compliant devices and automatically cuts off power for non-PoE equipment, effectively avoiding short circuits, overloads and equipment burnout risks. Different from ordinary single-layer PoE switches, the independent dual uplink ports provide independent data transmission channels, optimize network architecture, reduce data collision and delay, and ensure long-term smooth and stable network operation.

Constructed with thickened industrial metal casing, the switch features excellent heat dissipation, dustproof, anti-interference and compression resistance, adapting to various indoor complex working environments. The full fanless natural heat dissipation design achieves zero-noise operation, with no mechanical failure and low later maintenance cost. It supports dual installation methods of desktop placement and wall mounting, with flexible and space-saving deployment. The pure plug-and-play design requires no professional debugging, login settings or software installation, allowing users to quickly complete network construction, greatly saving project time and wiring costs.

Product Features

1. 8+2 Professional Port Layout: 8×10/100Mbps PoE ports + 2×10/100Mbps independent uplink ports, hierarchical network transmission to avoid congestion

2. Universal PoE Standard: Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at protocols, compatible with all mainstream PoE terminal devices on the global market

3. 120W High Power Output: Built-in high-efficiency power module with 120W total PoE budget, supporting stable simultaneous operation of multiple PoE devices

4. Intelligent PoE Identification: Automatic detection of device types, adaptive power supply, and power-off protection for non-PoE equipment

5. Stable Fast Transmission: All ports support Auto MDI/MDIX and auto-negotiation, no crossover cable required, low delay and high stability

6. Fanless Silent Operation: Natural heat dissipation design, zero running noise, suitable for office, home and quiet monitoring scenarios

7. Industrial Metal Durability: Full metal shell with excellent heat dissipation and anti-electromagnetic interference capability, supporting 24/7 continuous work

8. Plug & Play Unmanaged Design: No software configuration, no professional operation needed, zero maintenance cost

9. Comprehensive Safety Protection: Built-in over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and surge lightning protection to ensure device and network safety

10. Wide Application & Flexible Installation: Support desktop/wall mounting, widely used for surveillance cameras, WiFi APs, VoIP phones and IoT network systems

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What is a PoE switch?

A1: A PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch transmits both network data and electrical power to connected devices through a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for separate power adapters. This switch supports IEEE 802.3af/at standards and can power IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones directly.

Q2: How many devices can this 8-port PoE switch power?

A2: It provides 8 PoE working ports with a built-in 120W total PoE power budget. The actual number of devices you can power depends on each devices power consumption; for example, it can easily power 8 standard 802.3af cameras or a mix of APs and VoIP phones within the 120W budget.

Q3: Can I connect non-PoE devices to the PoE ports?

A3: Yes. The switch features intelligent PoE detection. It automatically identifies standard 802.3af/at PoE devices and only supplies power to them, while non-PoE equipment receives data transmission only, so there is no risk of damaging regular devices.

Q4: Do I need to configure this switch?

A4: No. It is an unmanaged plug-and-play switch. Simply connect the network cables and power it on; there is no software, login or advanced configuration required, making it very easy to deploy.

Q5: What is the purpose of the 2 uplink ports?

A5: The 2 dedicated uplink ports provide independent data transmission channels to connect your router, NVR or upstream switch. This separates upstream and downstream traffic, reduces data collision and delay, and keeps the whole network stable and smooth.

Q6: What Ethernet cable should I use?

A6: For stable PoE power and gigabit-quality data transmission over 10/100Mbps, we recommend using CAT5e or CAT6 network cables. All ports support Auto MDI/MDIX, so both straight-through and crossover cables work.

Q7: Is this switch suitable for outdoor or high-temperature environments?

A7: It features an all-metal fanless housing with good heat dissipation, working from -10C to 55C. It is designed for indoor environments such as offices, retail stores, warehouses and surveillance rooms; for direct outdoor use, we recommend installing it in a waterproof enclosure.
