Product Description:
Screw feeders, sometimes called screw conveyors, scraper conveyors, or bucket conveyors, are made up of a feed hopper, a screw mechanism, and a transmission system.
Working Principle:
The working principle relies on a weighing bridge to measure the weight of material being conveyed on the belt. A digital speed sensor installed at the tail continuously monitors the feeder's speed and sends pulse signals corresponding to the speed to the feeding controller. The controller’s microprocessor processes both the weight and speed signals to calculate and display the total conveyed quantity and the instantaneous flow rate. By comparing the actual flow rate with the preset value, the control system adjusts the frequency converter to regulate the feeder’s drive speed. This ensures the material flow rate aligns with the desired feed rate, achieving accurate and consistent quantitative feeding.
