Gate- Rubberized UnderCoating is a fast‑dry, spray‑applied rubber granule coating formulated for automotive chassis, underbody, bumpers, engine splash shields and repair seams. With high rust resistance, sound‑damping stop‑leak performance, stone chip cushioning and waterproof sealing, it delivers a textured yet flexible finish that protects metal parts from corrosion, impact and road vibration.
Shake the can until internal beads rattle freely then continue shaking for at least 45 seconds. With a recommended spray distance of about 50 cm, this robust finish can be recoated or top‑coated with primer or 2K paint once surface‑tack is achieved.
Key Features
Fast‑dry rubber granule finish - no sag, chip‑resistant and UV‑stable
Rust prevention - resilient film seals moisture and road salt
Sound deadening - granular texture absorbs road and engine noise
Waterproof & vibration‑resistant - ideal for wheel wells, engine bays
Impact buffering - closes minor leaks and protects against gravel
Easy application - built‑in agitator beads, spray can format
Compatible with top‑coats - can be overpainted with primers and basecoats

Application Notes
Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from oil, rust, and dust. For best adhesion, sand or degrease the area before spraying. Avoid application on hot surfaces such as exhaust pipes or brakes.
Shake Well Before Use: Vigorously shake the can until the internal mixing bead rattles. Then continue shaking for at least 45 seconds to ensure even dispersion of granules.
Spray Distance: Maintain a distance of approximately 50 cm between the nozzle and the surface. Apply in smooth, even strokes for consistent coverage.
Layer Application: Apply multiple light coats instead of one thick coat. Recommended total dry film thickness: ≥ 400 μm for optimal protection.
Drying Time: Touch-dry in 3-5 minutes at 20 °C. Allow 5-10 minutes before recoating. Fully cured in 24 hours at room temperature or within 2 hours at 60 °C.
After Use: Invert the can and spray briefly to clean the nozzle. Store in a cool, ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat.
Available Services
OEM / Private Label Support: We offer full customization services including tin design, label layout, language printing (EN/ES/FR/AR), and barcode generation.
Formula Customization: Adjust drying speed, granule texture, viscosity, or flexibility to meet specific regional climate or market needs.
Trial Orders Accepted: MOQ starts from 1 carton (6 cans). Samples available and cost can be offset from bulk orders.
Technical Support: TDS, MSDS, demo videos, and application guides are available upon request for distributors and bulk buyers.
Bulk Packaging Option: Besides 2 L aerosol tins, bulk drum versions (20 L / 200 L) can be provided for industrial sprayers upon negotiation.
FAQs
Q: What surfaces can Rubberized Coating be used on?
A: Suitable for primed or bare steel, aluminum panels, plastic guards with primer adhesion. Avoid repainting hot (exhaust, brakes).
Q: How long should I shake the can?
A: Wait until internal bead rattles freely, then shake firmly ≥ 45 seconds before first use--ensures uniform granule dispersion.
Q: Can I top-coat with primer or paint?
A: Yes. After surface‑tack (~5-10 min), you can apply epoxy primer or basecoat. Drying fully (24 h) before over‑coating gives best adhesion.
Q: What is the shelf life?
A: Unopened cans last at least 36 months when stored at 5-30 °C away from direct sunlight.
Q: What safety precautions are needed?
A: Use in ventilated area, wear gloves, goggles, and respirator cartridge A2/P3; no smoking; do not expose to open flame or crush can.
