Gate 2K Alloy Clear Coat is a two-component acrylic clearcoat developed for high-gloss protection of alloy wheels, chrome-finished components, motorcycle metal parts, and selected decorative metal surfaces. Its positioning is not a general-purpose clearcoat: it is designed for projects where adhesion, gloss, scratch resistance, and retention of the original metallic appearance are important.
After correct preparation and professional spray application, the clear film is intended to provide a deep, transparent, mirror-gloss appearance while helping protect alloy and chrome surfaces exposed to washing abrasion, road dust, brake dust, weather, and everyday service conditions.
It can be used in compatible gloss and matte color-system processes. Surface condition, coating compatibility, and application parameters should always be confirmed by a spray-out test before production work.
Alloy wheels are exposed to impacts, dirt, wash abrasion, brake dust, and frequent outdoor weather. This 2K clearcoat is designed for professional wheel refinishing projects involving original equipment alloy wheels, aftermarket and custom alloy wheels, CNC-machined wheel designs, repaired or repainted rims, and motorcycle wheels.
For properly prepared chrome-finished surfaces, this product can be used as a transparent protective layer while helping retain the reflective visual character of chrome. Typical applications include chrome wheels, trim, door handles, bumpers, and electroplated metal accessories.
The clearcoat is designed to form a transparent, high-gloss film with visual depth. It helps highlight the reflective character of polished alloy, bright metallic coatings, and chrome finishes with deep clear gloss and mirror-like reflection.
The two-component curing system forms a dense clear film intended to help improve resistance to common wheel-service exposure, including light scratching, wash abrasion, dust friction, brake dust, and road-debris contact.
The coating process can be adapted to different workshop capacities, with ambient, oven, and infrared drying options specified for the product process.
