Finish 1™ F1C2180A is a VOC-version, two-pack acrylic polyurethane clearcoat for automotive repair and refinishing. Combined with F1H3020A Standard Hardener, it is designed to deliver a bright, smooth and transparent clear finish over compatible automotive colour coats.

This system is suitable for body shops, used-car refurbishment companies, fleet maintenance operations and professional spray booths requiring a dependable high-gloss finish across different repair sizes.

The clear film improves surface gloss, clarity and colour presentation. It can add visual depth to solid, metallic and pearl finishes while maintaining a clean transparent appearance.

F1C2180A is supplied for use with compatible F1H3020A hardener rather than as an isolated clearcoat. A matched system supports more predictable mixing, application and curing control than combining unrelated materials.

The formulation is developed for professional automotive repair. When applied correctly, it provides balanced flow, film formation and gloss consistency for routine refinishing work.

Use it for spot repairs, complete panels, multiple panels, used-car refurbishment, vehicle restoration and full-vehicle clearcoating, subject to compatible substrate and basecoat conditions.

1. Confirm that the basecoat is fully flashed and suitable for clearcoat application.
2. Mix F1C2180A and F1H3020A at the recommended ratio.
3. Add compatible thinner only as specified by the applicable TDS.
4. Allow approximately 5–10 minutes preparation time where required.
5. Apply approximately two coats with approximately 5–10 minutes flash-off between coats.
6. Air dry at approximately 23°C for around 16 hours, or bake at approximately 60°C for around 30 minutes.
7. Inspect gloss, film appearance and adhesion before delivery or polishing.

Reference spray viscosity is approximately 23 seconds after the recommended preparation period, subject to measurement method, temperature and applicable TDS.

The listed product combination includes F1H3020A. Temperature ranges are reference guidance only; verify market-specific technical data before use.

Before application, confirm that the basecoat is fully flashed or cured as required, the substrate has been cleaned and prepared, the thinner is approved for use with the system, and plastic parts receive the required adhesion treatment.

For metallic, pearl or colour-change basecoats, correct flash-off and spray technique are essential to help reduce defects such as mottling, lifting, pinholes, solvent popping or uneven gloss.
