How to determine if it is a flywheel fault rather than a clutch problem?
① When idling in neutral gear, there is a distinct abnormal noise. After pressing the clutch pedal, the noise disappears. It is very likely that the flywheel is faulty. ② Clutch faults are mostly manifested as slippage during gear shifting and incomplete disengagement, and there is no abnormal noise specific to idle speed. ③ It can be determined by detecting the free rotation Angle of the flywheel. The normal rotation Angle is ≤10°. If it exceeds the tolerance, it indicates that the internal damping mechanism of the flywheel is damaged.
