The role of the Valve pusher

1.Force Transmission and Distribution:

Ensures the two valves open and close synchronously with identical lift, achieving even air intake/exhaust and improving charging efficiency and combustion stability.

2.Synchronous Control and Precise Valve Timing:

Guarantees the two valves have consistent opening timing, closing timing and lift, avoiding asynchronous movement, lag or seizure.

Prevents issues such as uneven air intake, poor exhaust, knocking, power loss and increased fuel consumption caused by valve asynchronism.

3.Guidance and Anti-deflection:

Most valve bridges are equipped with guide rods or lugs that match the cylinder head guide seats, restricting the bridge to vertical up-and-down movement only and preventing lateral shift, rotation or tilting.

Reduces lateral wear between valve stems and guides, protecting valves and guides to extend service life.

Working Principle of the Valve pusher

1.Force Input from Rocker Arm

The rocker arm, driven by the camshaft, applies downward pressure to the center or driving point of the valve bridge.

2.Even Force Distribution

The bridge evenly splits and transmits this single force to two valve stems simultaneously, ensuring both valves receive equal load and lift.

3.Guided Linear Motion

Guided by the cylinder head or a guide pin, the valve bridge moves only vertically without lateral movement or rotation, keeping the valves aligned and preventing deflection.

4.Synchronous Valve Operation

By rigid mechanical connection, the two valves open and close at the same time with identical lift, maintaining consistent valve timing and airflow.
