Product Details
The AB 1788-DNBO DeviceNet daughter card is a DeviceNet communication scanner that interfaces the FlexLogix control platform to the DeviceNet network for enhanced control. This scanner provides high precision DeviceNet monitoring, configuration, and I/O scanning capabilities, and it can be installed easily on any supported DeviceNet host device. The 1788-DNBO daughter card draws 260 milliAmps of backplane current at 5 Volts DC, and 20 milliAmps of current at 24 Volts DC. It has a power rating of 0.48 Watts at 24 Volts DC, and a rated isolation voltage rating of 707 Volts DC (tested for 60 seconds). The 1788-DNBO daughter card has a thermal dissipation of 6.1 BTU per hour, and it comes in an open type of enclosure. The 1788-DNBO daughter card comes with the latest firmware version (version 2.002) which supports the RSLogix 5000 V12 software, and offers an auto-configuration feature, a FlexLogix Backup feature, and quick-connect features.
The 1788-DNBO daughter card offers selectable baud rates and nodes (0 = 125k, 1 = 250k, 2 = 500k), which can be set via the hardware push-wheels on the board, and it has input and output data rates of 124 Double Integers (DINT) and 123 DINTs. The 1788-DNBO daughter card connects to the DeviceNet network via a factory provided 5-pin DeviceNet connector cable which is connected to the DeviceNet port on the scanner and screwed tightly with connector screws. It has Network status (NW), module status (MS), and I/O status indicators, which indicate the card’s performance status. The 1788-DNBO daughter card has an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, and it can be stored within a –40 to 85 degrees Celsius temperature range. It has a net shipping weight of 0.1 kilograms, and it is CE, c-UR-us, C-TICK, and ODVA certified.
