Product Details
The GE RST Analog I/O Board DS200TCQAG1A contains four 34-pin connectors, two 40-pin connectors, and six jumpers. The board also has 6 LEDs. Some of the jumpers enable the user to configure the board. Other jumpers are set at the factory and are for use only by the factory for testing during the manufacturing process. You cannot move a jumper that is for factory use only and the manual that comes with the board will provide all the information about the configuration choices provided by the jumpers.
Consider that the board is configured once during drive installation when the board is installed, and is not performed again. This means that when you replace the board, you can record the settings on the old board and match them on the replacement board. When you remove the old board, first document where cables are attached to the connectors on the old board and write down the connector identifiers. Attach the tags to the cables so you’ll know where to connect them on the replacement board.
With the use of two hands, use a screwdriver to disconnect the old board from the board rack. Use one hand to guide the screwdriver blade to the screw and use the other hand to turn the screwdriver. Hold the screw and washer securely and don’t let them drop into the drive. If they do drop, locate them immediately and pull them out. If you start the drive with loose items in the drive, an electrical shock might occur or drive components might be damaged.
