| The SNB10D is Yokogawa’s rack-mount Safety Node Unit (for ProSafe-RS) that provides redundant power + ESB-bus I/O interface for safety (SIL) applications; the CU2N indicates the ESB connector unit is fitted, and -4 shows dual-redundant power hardware.Interfaces field I/O (analog inputs and contact/digital I/O modules) to a Safety Control Unit (SCU) over the ESB bus and supplies power to the I/O modules. It is a rack-mountable I/O node used in ProSafe-RS safety instrumented systems.SNB10D node units are implemented with dual-redundant ESB bus interface modules and (when ordered as “-4”) dual-redundant power-supply modules, so the node can continue operation after a single module failure. | ||
