The Xiaoyun 1.5L naturally aspirated engine in the BYD Qin PLUS DM-i features Atkinson cycle operation with an ultra-high compression ratio of 15.5:1 and a maximum thermal efficiency exceeding 43% [6†L10-L11]. In the DM-i super hybrid system, the engine frequently starts and stops and often operates under high-load conditions, making precise oil temperature control critical to engine reliability, fuel economy, and service life. This product is developed and manufactured strictly according to BYD OEM technical standards, using an aluminum alloy plate-fin structure composed of aluminum alloy multi-port flat tubes, louvered fins, and an aluminum alloy housing, integrally brazed using the CAB brazing process. It offers high heat exchange efficiency, strong corrosion resistance, and reliable sealing. The product passes rigorous pressure and high-low temperature cycle tests, with OE numbers precisely matching the original vehicle for direct replacement of damaged or aged original oil cooler assemblies.
