The Xiaoyun engine in the BYD Qin PLUS DM-i features Atkinson cycle operation with an ultra-high compression ratio of 15.5:1 and a maximum thermal efficiency exceeding 43%, placing higher demands on intake system airflow stability and acoustic performance. This product is developed and manufactured strictly according to BYD OEM technical standards, using high-strength engineering plastic injection molding with integrated internal baffle plates. The precisely calculated cavity volume effectively reduces intake noise in the 400-600Hz frequency band by 3-5 decibels, while providing pressure stabilization and buffering functions to maintain idle stability.
