The BYD Yuan Proseries is a popular small/compact SUV under BYD's lineup, featuring the family Dragon Face design language. The through-type chrome trim strip is one of the most recognizable characteristics of the front fascia. Depending on the model version, the Yuan series front bumper trim strips come in various types, including the upper LOGO trim, headlight chrome trim, lower bumper trim, and ACC cover trim.

These chrome/silver trim strips serve as core visual elements of the front face, playing key roles in enhancing horizontal visual width and enhancing the vehicle's premium feel. In daily use, the front bumper trim strips are exposed to outdoor elements and are susceptible to damage from stone chips, car wash scratches, and collision impacts – making them frequently replaced exterior parts in collision repairs. The trim strip features ABS substrate with multi-layer electroplating process, achieving mirror-grade surface gloss. The electroplating layer has uniform thickness and strong adhesion, passing 96-hour neutral salt spray testing without corrosion or blistering. Installation Instructions

Tool Preparation:

• Plastic pry tool (for removing old trim)

• Alcohol/cleaner (for surface cleaning)

• Clean cloth

• Hair dryer/heat gun (for low-temperature adhesion)

Installation Steps (Clip Type):

1. Remove Old Trim:Carefully pry clip positions of the old trim with a pry tool; remove old trim from bumper

2. Clean Mounting Area:Thoroughly clean dust, oil, and residue from the mounting groove; ensure surface is dry

3. Inspect Clips:Check if clips are intact – replace if damaged

4. Install New Trim:Align new trim with clip holes, press clips sequentially to secure

5. Check Fixation:Verify trim is properly secured with no looseness

Installation Steps (3M Adhesive Type):

1. Clean mounting surface (must be oil-free, water-free, dust-free)

2. Peel off 3M adhesive backing

3. Align and apply naturally – do not stretch

4. Press for >30 seconds to ensure adhesion

5. Recommended to avoid car washing for 24 hours

【Installation Precautions】:

• When ambient temperature is low (<10°C), pre-heat mounting surface and adhesive with a hair dryer

• Avoid water contact for 24 hours after adhesive application

• Avoid scratching chrome surface with hard objects

• If not fully adhered, use zip ties for auxiliary fixation for 24 hours
