The fender cover is a small decorative trim panel installed at the connection between the front fender and A-pillar, outside the front door hinge area . Although modest in size, it is a key covering component that bridges the gap between the front fender and A-pillar, serving to enhance appearance, conceal gaps, and protect internal wiring harnesses. This trim works together with the door seal and A-pillar trim to form a complete decorative system around the door frame.

The fender cover features a clip-on mounting design – no tools required for installation. Simply align the trim with clip holes and press into place. Single panel replacement takes only 2-3 minutes and can be completed by one person.

According to installation guidelines, clean the fender surface before installation to ensure no dust or grease for proper adhesion . Accurately align the trim with the fender edges to ensure uniform fitment . Use a plastic pry tool to remove old trim and avoid scratching the paint . Do not use excessive force during installation to avoid cracking the trim or damaging the fender surface .

 Installation Instructions

Tool Preparation:

• Plastic pry tool (for removing old part)

• Alcohol/cleaner (for surface cleaning)

• Clean cloth

• New clip set (recommended)

Installation Steps:

1. Remove Old Trim: Carefully pry the clip positions of the old trim with a plastic pry tool, remove old trim from fender 

2. Clean Mounting Area: Clean dust, oil, and residue from mounting area – ensure surface is clean for proper adhesion 

3. Inspect Clips: Check if clips are intact – replace if damaged

4. Align Installation: Align new trim with clip holes, ensure alignment with fender edges 

5. Press to Secure: Press clips sequentially to secure – a "click" indicates proper installation

6. Check Fitment: Confirm trim is flush with fender with no raised edges

• Always use a plastic pry tool during removal to avoid scratching the paint 

• Ensure the fender surface is clean and dry with no oil or dust before installation 

• Do not use excessive force during installation – over-pressing may cause the trim to crack or damage the fender surface 

• Check alignment again after partial installation to ensure even fitment 

• For stronger adhesion, a small amount of automotive-grade adhesive can be used
