Application:
This system is suitable for air-tightness detection of compressors of automotive air-conditioner. It can also be used for compressors of household refrigerator and air-conditioner to ensure the airtightness of the product and avoid the leakage of harmful substances (refrigerant).

The chamber helium leak test system proposed has the totally automatic cycle with manual load and unload of the auto parts test piece.
The Test Cycle can be described in the following way:
Manual load of the auto parts in the Test Chamber.
Closure of the Chamber.
Evacuation of the Chamber to a value of vacuum suitable for Leak Test with Mass Spectrometer. During the evacuation of the Chamber, the system will run the following Tests on the auto parts test piece:
Pressure decay to reveal Gross Leaks;
auto parts test piece evacuation;
Reaching a vacuum value suitable for transfer, that is to put the mass spectrometer in communication with the Test Chamber.
Reading of background, which is the residual Helium in the Test Chamber.
Pressurization of auto parts test piece with Helium.
Leak test with Mass Spectrometer.
Ventilation of the Test Chamber (return to atmospheric pressure),
