The radiator grille, also known as the front grille, is a framework component mounted at the front of a vehicle's bonnet. Typically positioned at the centre of the front end, just in front of the engine compartment, it is usually covered internally with a mesh-like grille or netting. Grilles are primarily constructed from metal, plastic, or composite materials and come in various shapes, with common designs including vertical slats, horizontal bars, and honeycomb patterns. The primary function of the grille is to provide an airflow passage for the radiator and engine within the engine compartment. It also serves as a crucial element of the vehicle's front fascia design, significantly influencing the overall aesthetic style of the vehicle.
 
 
During prolonged use, the automotive grille may encounter various faults and issues. The following are some common fault manifestations:
