The air pump of the automotive suspension system (commonly referred to as 'air compressor/compressor') is the 'heart' of the air spring system, responsible for establishing compressed air at 0.6–1.4 MPa within less than 1 second, supplying air to the air springs/air tanks, to achieve the closed-loop control of 'raising-lowering-holding' of the entire vehicle.

The filter core status should be checked according to the vehicle manual requirements (typically every 20,000-30,000 kilometers or once a year). If the filter core is found to be dirty or damaged, it should be replaced immediately. In harsh environments (such as dusty or muddy roads), the replacement cycle should be shortened.
• Avoid water immersion / high-pressure washing of the intake port: When washing the car or driving through water, the air pump intake port (usually located on the underside or rear of the vehicle, with a visible dust cover) should be avoided to prevent moisture or dirty water from directly entering the pump. If water immersion occurs accidentally, the intake port should be checked for water ingress promptly, and disassembly and drying should be performed if necessary.
