The intercooler is an essential component of turbocharged engines, responsible for cooling the high-temperature air compressed by the turbocharger. This process increases air density, enhances combustion efficiency, reduces the risk of detonation, and ultimately results in a power boost of 15% to 20% and improved emission performance.
The intercooler, also known as the turbo air cooler, is installed between the turbocharger and the engine intake manifold, used to reduce the intake temperature.
