Question: TF70SC, TF80SC and TF81SC solenoid valves look similar. Can these parts be interchanged directly?
Answer: Direct interchange is not supported. Although the external shape is close, they differ in internal spool travel, lock-up parameters and coil resistance. Forced installation will trigger shift disorder and persistent fault codes. Please send us the vehicle VIN or original part number before ordering, so we can confirm the exact model and avoid expensive repair losses for local repair shops.
Question: What pre-processing upgrade options can you offer for these solenoids, such as deep polishing and new sealing rings? How much extra cost will each set incur?
Answer: We provide optional deep overhaul service. We thoroughly clean each valve, polish the spool and replace all aging sealing rings with new ones. The extra cost depends on the upgrade scope. We can issue a detailed quotation once you confirm the standard. This optimized treatment effectively reduces the risk of spool sticking and shudder after installation.
Question: After installing the TF80SC solenoid kit, is TCU adaptive calibration mandatory? Is there any alternative solution if garages lack professional diagnostic equipment?
Answer: TCU adaptive learning is mandatory after assembly. Ordinary road driving cannot complete full calibration, which easily causes continuous shift shudder and transmission fault codes. We supply detailed English operation documents. If technicians still encounter difficulties, our English technical team can provide remote video guidance to finish calibration and troubleshoot faults.
