Description
The bernoulli self-cleaning filter which does not only use the backflush effect caused by the simple pressure drop to outside lower pressure than the working pressure – the Bernoulli self cleaning backflush filter creates it ́s own backflush effect in the gap between the cleaning disc and the strainer insert. The insert can be made out of wedged wire profiles or a perforated plate. In some special applications also stainless steel or alloy mesh is used. The wedged wire filter screen can be made out of stainless steel SS 316 or materials like super duplex or duplex SS. If perforated plate is used for filter degrees over or 1 mm than as well stainless steel and also duplex Ss or titanium perforated plates are used.
The bernoulli self-cleaning filter is designed for automatic continuous filtration of water in the pressurized systems. The Bernoulli Filter removes debris and particles from natural water sources such as sea water or river water. It is the ideal solution for the coarse water filtration ranging from 200μm to 2000μm. The Bernoulli filter works in Bernoulli Effect Principle, which leads to the simple and reliable filtering operation. It cleans the filter screen with surface cross flow and the back-flushing flow, which brings higher particle removal efficiency than the conventional brush filter. Many particles larger than the screen aperture are extruded through the screen when a brush filter is brushing and cleaning.
