3. Charging & Maintenance Guidelines
Recommended Charging Method: Use a CC/CV (constant current/constant voltage) charger set to 4.2V ±0.05V. Initial charge current should be 0.5C (2.65A) for optimal cycle life; maximum allowable charge current is 1C (5.3A) for fast charging scenarios.
Charging Environment: Conduct charging in well-ventilated, dry areas between 0°C and 45°C. Avoid charging in high-humidity environments or enclosed spaces to reduce corrosion and insulation risks.
Discharge Management: Do not discharge below 3.0V to prevent irreversible capacity loss and increased internal resistance. Devices should include low-voltage cutoff logic.
Storage Protocol:
For short-term (<1 month): Maintain charge level between 40–80%.
For long-term (>1 month): Store at ~50% state of charge (SoC) in a cool, dry environment (15–25°C).
Recharge every 3 months if idle to avoid deep discharge-induced dormancy or failure.
Handling Precautions: Avoid exposure to water, metal contact, or mechanical impact. Never disassemble or modify the cell.
End-of-Life Disposal: Recycle at certified e-waste facilities. Do not incinerate or dispose of in household waste due to fire hazard.
