3. Charging & Maintenance Guidelines
Recommended Charging Method: Use a CC/CV (constant current/constant voltage) charger set to 4.2V ±0.05V. Optimal charge current: 0.5C (1.0A) for maximum cycle life; maximum allowable charge current: 1C (2.0A) for faster top-up.
Charging Environment: Charge only in dry, ventilated areas within 0°C to 45°C. Avoid charging in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in humid environments.
Discharge Management: Never discharge below 3.0V to prevent cell degradation and loss of capacity. Devices should include low-voltage cutoff circuitry.
Storage Protocol:
For short-term (<1 month): Store at 40–80% SoC.
For long-term (>1 month): Store at ~50% SoC (3.7–3.8V) in a cool, dry location (15–25°C).
Recharge every 3 months if unused to maintain cell health and prevent deep discharge.
