Product Introduction

Touch-free entry is now the standard for modern buildings. Staff, visitors and contractors expect to walk through an entrance without searching for a card, and facility managers need to know exactly who passed the lane and when. The KMS-T552 facial recognition speed gate turnstile answers both needs. A face recognition terminal mounted on the 304 stainless steel pillar verifies the user in about 0.3 seconds from up to one metre away, then the acrylic swing arms open in 0.5 seconds and close behind the verified person.

The terminal stores face templates locally and in the management platform, so one face library can serve several lanes, floors and buildings. Face verification can be combined with IC / ID card, QR code, fingerprint and password for higher security levels. Six pairs of infrared sensors watch the whole lane to prevent tailgating, and every passage is written to the attendance log automatically. With IP43 / IP54 protection, a -30 C to 70 C working range and a service life above 5 million cycles, the KMS-T552 suits office buildings, factories, campuses, hospitals and residential communities.

A wide dynamic range camera and infrared fill light verify the face in about 0.3 seconds, even in backlit lobbies or low light. Staff enter hands-free, so lost cards, shared cards and forgotten badges no longer block the lane.

The algorithm keeps a very low false acceptance rate while recognising people wearing glasses, hats or masks, and supports liveness detection to reject photos and screen playback. Face templates are encrypted, so personal data stays protected.

Face recognition can be set as the only credential or combined with IC / ID card, QR code, fingerprint, password and remote release, allowing one lane to apply different security levels to employees, visitors and contractors.

4. Anti-tailgating infrared safety protection

Six pairs of infrared sensors detect a second person, a child or luggage following a verified user. The gate holds the arms, raises an alarm and refuses passage until the lane is clear, and the arms retract on contact to avoid crushing people or bags.

5. Automatic attendance recording and access reports

Every face-verified passage is stored with time, lane and person ID, so attendance, shift rules and visitor records are generated automatically and exported to the access control platform over TCP/IP or RS485.

6. Fast flow and durable 304 stainless steel cabinet

Opening in 0.5 seconds, the lane handles 30 people per minute normally and 40 people per minute in normally-open mode. The 304 stainless steel or baked-paint 201 stainless steel cabinet, shatter resistant acrylic arms and IP43 / IP54 protection keep the gate reliable indoors and in semi-outdoor entrances.
