Product Overview
The Burning Velocity Test Apparatus is engineered in compliance with ISO 817 standards for measuring the burning velocity of flammable gases mixed with air. This includes refrigerants and venting gases from lithium-ion battery thermal runaway events.
Measurement Principle
The system ignites pre-mixed gas within a specialized glass tube and captures flame propagation using high-speed camera technology. Advanced software calculates flame propagation speed and burning velocity from the recorded data.
Range: -0.1 to 0.3MPa, accuracy better than 0.05% F.S.
