Burning Velocity Test Apparatus(Compliant with ISO 817)
Product Introduction
The Burning Velocity Test Apparatus is designed in accordance with ISO 817 and is used to measure the burning velocity of flammable gases mixed with air,such as refrigerants and venting gases from lithium-ion battery thermal runaway.By igniting the pre-mixed gas in a glass tube and recording the flame propagation with a high-speed camera,the apparatus calculates the flame propagation speed and burning velocity through specialized software.
Key Features
• High-Temperature Resistant Combustion Tube:Inner diameter of 40mm,length of 1200mm,with a pressure resistance greater than 0.1MPa.
• Pre-Mix Chamber:Capacity of 10L,with a pressure resistance of at least 1MPa.
• Pressure Measurement System:Measuring range of-0.1 to 0.3MPa,with an accuracy better than 0.05%F.S.
• Ignition System:Equipped with 2 ignition needles and an ignition transformer.
• Vacuum Pump:Capacity of no less than 1L/s,used for evacuating air from the chamber.
• High-Speed Camera:Automatically triggered by the software,with a maximum frame rate of up to 70,000fps at a resolution of 1280×8 pixels.
• Operation Software:Integrated functions for gas mixing,filling,ignition,and camera activation,automatically calculating flame area and burning velocity.
• Compact Design:Small size and lightweight,suitable for use in limited spaces.
