Structural Composition

It mainly consists of conveyor belts, troughed idlers, parallel idlers, self - aligning idlers, impact idlers, driving devices, tensioning devices, frames, loading devices, cleaners, braking and anti - reverse devices, etc.

Working Principle

The motor of the driving device transmits power to the driving drum through a reducer. The tensioning device presses the conveyor belt tightly against the driving drum to generate friction. The rotation of the driving drum drives the conveyor belt to operate. Materials are added to the conveyor belt at the loading point of the tail. They move with the belt to the unloading point at the head and are unloaded. After the conveyor belt bypasses the head and tail drums, it returns with the support of the lower idlers, forming an endless closed loop.

Characteristics

It has advantages such as large conveying capacity, long conveying distance, simple structure, low operation and maintenance cost, low energy consumption, high reliability, stable operation, and strong adaptability to materials. However, it also has disadvantages such as high initial investment, fixed conveying route, limited inclined conveying angle, and requirements for material characteristics of ordinary belts.
