The WLS300 shaftless screw conveyor is a mainstream model of Chengtong Machinery WLS series. It features a screw diameter of φ300 mm, allowable working inclination from 0° to 30°, maximum conveying length of 30 meters, and maximum throughput capacity of 18 m³/h. It is engineered for sticky, stringy and impurity‑laden materials, widely deployed in wastewater treatment plants, waste transfer stations and paper mills.
Different from traditional shaft‑type screw conveyors which easily get tangled by fibrous waste, the WLS300 removes the central shaft. It adopts integrated shaftless spiral blades paired with high‑molecular wear‑resistant liner plates. Materials are pushed forward directly by spiral blades inside the trough, fundamentally eliminating fiber tangling and blockage risks. The main body can be carbon steel or stainless steel to fit corrosive and wet sludge conditions.
The fully enclosed trough guarantees dust‑free and leak‑tight transportation. It prevents material spill‑over and secondary pollution, greatly improving on‑site working conditions. Typical handled materials include municipal dewatered sludge, screenings, oily sludge, kitchen waste and household refuse. In wastewater treatment, it connects with bar screens and filter presses to transport screen residues and filter cakes. For solid‑waste projects, it conveys shredded domestic waste and organic residues.
Running at low speed with high torque, this machine delivers stable performance with low energy consumption. Its 30‑degree maximum inclination satisfies elevation‑conveying requirements for sites with limited layout space. Wear‑resistant liners are easy to disassemble and replace for low‑cost maintenance. Modular structure supports customized length and inlet‑outlet layout. It can be equipped with drive protection and alarm units for automatic production lines. With proven operating stability, the WLS300 shaftless screw conveyor is a preferred material‑handling equipment for solid‑waste and wastewater industries.
