2. Detection Principle

3. Main Components
Test Card: Contains specific antibodies or antigens for monkeypox virus detection.
Buffer Solution: Used to dilute the sample to ensure accurate testing.
Sampling Tools: Such as swabs or other suitable sampling devices.
4. Procedure
Sample Collection: Obtain a sample from the patient, which may be blood, skin scrapings, or other bodily fluids.
Sample Processing: Mix the sample with the buffer solution.
Testing: Apply the processed sample to the test card and wait for the specified time (usually 15-30 minutes).
Result Interpretation: Read the result by observing the color lines on the test card. If both the test line and control line appear, the result is positive. If only the control line appears, the result is negative.
5. Result Interpretation
Positive Result: The appearance of a specific test line on the card indicates the presence of monkeypox virus antigens or antibodies in the sample.
Negative Result: Only the control line appears, suggesting that no monkeypox virus markers were detected in the sample.
Invalid Result: No control line appears, which may indicate a procedural error or a faulty test card, requiring retesting.
