The JY01 is a dual-mode Brushless DC motor controller IC designed to drive both Hall sensor and sensorless BLDC motors. It integrates SPWM control, current regulation and multiple protection functions.
Yes. JY01 features a multi-functional Pin 1 (FO/EL). Connecting Pin 1 to VSS or 5V sets it to Hall sensor mode; offering 0.1V–4V to Pin 1 configures it for sensorless motor driving.
When the IS pin voltage reaches 0.1V, overload monitoring activates, limiting the current to maintain a stable drive state. If the IS pin voltage exceeds 0.2V due to an emergency, JY01 instantly shuts down all outputs within 4.5µs to prevent damage.
