Brief Step-by-Step Installation Tutorial

Required Tools

1. Park vehicle on flat ground, shut down engine and wait for full cooling to avoid scalding by hot coolant.
2. Lift vehicle front part and drain all engine coolant into a sealed collection container.
3. Disconnect vehicle battery negative terminal, then unplug the 3-pin electrical connector of the auxiliary pump.
4. Clamp cooling hoses on pump inlet and outlet, release hose clips and separate pipelines from pump joints.
5. Loosen pump mounting bolts and remove the old faulty auxiliary water pump assembly.
6. Thoroughly wipe pump mounting bracket and pipeline ports to clear residual coolant and aging gasket residues.
7. Apply thin sealing grease on the gaskets of new 06H121601N auxiliary pump, align and install the pump firmly until fixed by mounting lugs.
