Brief Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Required Tools

1. Park vehicle on flat ground, fully cool down engine to avoid scalding from hot coolant.
2. Lift front vehicle and drain all engine coolant into a sealed collection pan.
3. Disconnect negative battery terminal, unplug the 2-pin electrical connector from auxiliary pump.
4. Clamp cooling hoses on both pump ports, remove hose clamps and separate pipelines from pump connectors.
5. Loosen pump mounting bolts and remove the old faulty PEB500010 auxiliary pump assembly.
6. Thoroughly clean mounting bracket surface and pipe connection ports of residual coolant and dirt.
7. Apply thin layer of rubber sealing lubricant to new pump pipe joints, align and install the auxiliary pump.
8. Tighten all mounting bolts to Land Rover specified torque value, reconnect cooling hoses and lock clamps firmly.
9. Plug electrical connector back in, reconnect battery negative terminal, refill fresh coolant and fully bleed air from cooling circuit.
10. Start engine, turn heater to maximum and idle for 10 minutes to test pump operation, check all joints for coolant leakage and stable cabin heating output.
