The BOIGEVIS High Quality Connecting Rod Bearing (OE No. 06E105701R / 06E 105 701 R, GLB/YELLOW upper shell) is a tri-metal conrod bearing shell built for Audi and VW 3.0L V6 TFSI / TSI supercharged engines (EA837 family: CAKA, CCAA, CMUA, CREC, CTUB and related codes).
It covers Audi S4 (B8), S5 (8T/8F), A6 (C6/C7), A7, A8 (D4), Q5, SQ5, Q7 3.0 TFSI and VW Touareg 3.0 V6 TSI/Hybrid, roughly 2009–2019. Machined to OEM-equivalent wall thickness, crush height and shell eccentricity, it restores correct oil clearance on the 48 mm rod journal, preventing rod knock, metal fatigue, low-oil-pressure scuffing and catastrophic bottom-end failure during forced-induction load or after a crank regrind.
Available in STD and undersize (+0.25 / +0.50 mm) grades, each BOIGEVIS shell is micro-finished, thickness-sorted and cross-checked against 06E105701RGLB, 07L105701D and 06E105701S before packing.
