The BOIGEVIS timing rail (OE 079109514B) is an upper timing chain guide for Audi/VW 4.2L V8 40V engines (codes BBK, BAT, BHF)—covering Audi A4 B6/B7 S4, A6 C6 4.2 quattro, A6 Allroad C5 4.2, S6/RS6, plus VW Phaeton 4.2 and Touareg V8. It holds the upper cam timing chain in track, prevents slack, chain rattle and jump-tooth risk under high-RPM load.

Molded from reinforced PA66 glass-fiber composite with self-lubricating liner and OE contour/mount holes, it matches VAG 079109514B geometry for direct fit during timing overhaul—no trimming.
