The SAAS Physical Water Descaler is designed to help control limescale in residential, commercial, and industrial water systems without the use of salt or chemical additives. By using physical polarization technology, it helps reduce new scale formation while gradually loosening existing deposits in water pipes and equipment.
When water flows through the unit, it rapidly passes over the specially engineered energy-storing chip. The interaction between the flowing water and the chip generates a weak polarization current, which helps influence the behavior of minerals responsible for scale formation.
This physical treatment process works continuously as water passes through the system, providing ongoing scale-control performance without adding chemicals to the water.
The SAAS Water Descaler helps reduce the formation and adhesion of new limescale. During the treatment process, physical polarization effects interfere with the way calcium and magnesium ions interact with carbonate ions. This helps reduce the tendency of these minerals to form hard deposits on pipes, heating elements, and other water-contact surfaces.
The system is also designed to help gradually reduce existing scale deposits. With continuous exposure to treated water, existing hard calcite deposits can gradually change into a softer, more easily detachable aragonite-type structure. Over time, this can help loosen and remove accumulated scale from water-contact surfaces.
The result is a continuous process of scale prevention and gradual scale reduction, helping maintain cleaner pipes and water-using equipment.
