The HZ-A Horizontal Whole-House Water Pre-Filter is designed for installation at the main water inlet of municipal-water residential systems. It helps physically intercept visible sediment, rust particles and suspended matter before water reaches household plumbing, faucets, showers, water heaters and other downstream equipment.
Its horizontal form is suitable for installations where vertical space is limited. The product uses a 40 μm filtration structure and supports manual flushing for routine maintenance.
This product is designed for sediment pre-filtration only. It is not an RO system, water softener, sterilizer or dissolved-contaminant treatment device.

No. HZ-A is a sediment pre-filter and is not an ion-exchange water softener.

No. HZ-A is designed for physical interception of visible sediment, rust and suspended particles.
How often should it be flushed?
The flushing interval depends on local water quality and usage. Routine flushing is recommended, with adjustment according to visible sediment accumulation.
Can HZ-A be installed in any direction?
Follow the water-flow direction marked on the product and ensure that a suitable drainage point is available.
