The Fourth-Generation Manual Whole-House Water Pre-Filter is designed for installation at the main water inlet of residential water systems. It helps intercept visible sediment, rust particles and suspended matter before water reaches household plumbing, faucets, water heaters and other downstream equipment.
Its manual rotational drainage structure combines forward flushing, a siphon backwash path and dual-side scraping design to support routine cleaning of the reusable filter mesh. This product is intended for municipal water pre-filtration and is not a replacement for RO purification, disinfection or water softening equipment.

Water passes through the reusable filter mesh, where visible particles such as sand, rust and suspended sediment are intercepted. During maintenance, the user operates the manual drainage control to activate the flushing path.
The fourth-generation structure is designed to combine forward flushing, siphon-assisted backwashing and dual-side scraping action. This helps release accumulated particles from the mesh surface and discharge them through the drain outlet.

Does this product soften hard water?
No. This is a sediment pre-filter designed for visible particles. For scale-control requirements, it can be paired with a suitable whole-house physical scale-control product.
Does it remove bacteria, dissolved salts or heavy metals?
No such performance should be assumed. The product is designed for physical interception of visible sediment and suspended particles in municipal water.
How often should the filter be flushed?
The flushing interval depends on water quality, sediment level and actual usage. Flush the unit when visible buildup or reduced water flow is observed.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Installation conditions should protect the product from freezing, direct sunlight and unsuitable environmental exposure. Please follow the installation manual for the confirmed version.
