Design with the following points in mind:

The lubrication groove is directly opposite to the direction of motion.
If the bearing rotates, the grooves are placed on the shaft.
High sliding speed = smooth lubricant
Low sliding speed = hard lubricant
Viscosity is selected according to operating temperature.

Bearing clearance
The clearance of the oil-lubricated bearing is recommended to be 1.5-2.5‰ of the inner side of the bearing. Grease - lubricated bearings shall have twice the clearance. When the bearing moves back and forth, the clearance should be as small as possible (0.5-1‰). At high temperatures, the clearance should be greater than normal.
