High-temperature Water-cooled Burn-in Aging Test Cabinet For Automotive Control Microcontrollers

  • The overall system architecture adopts a simple version of the 1-to-4 MCU. Each cabinet has two slots at the top and bottom, which are independently controlled. The upper and lower waterways are used in series The upper and lower adjacent slots are regarded as one cavity, with independent temperature control. Each cavity can meet the heat dissipation power of 5KW. During aging, it needs to meet the requirements of adjustable and stable temperature operation from 35 to 85℃. The time to rise from room temperature to 85℃ is ≤20 minutes, the stable temperature time at 85℃ is ≤30 minutes, and the time to drop from 85℃ to 50℃ is ≤20 minutes. Temperature accuracy ±5 degrees, no-load temperature uniformity less than 5℃. The surface temperature of the cabinet should not exceed 43°C

Technical parameters

1 Brief Introduction to Appearance and Structure of Aging Cabinet
A Trolley Dimension (mm): Thermostatic type: 6+1 configuration dimension 8200*1600*1950mm; (customizable upon requirements)
B Trolley Layers: 2 layers for product placement; loads are arranged according to positions
C Trolley Layer Height: 400 mm clearance for product‑placement area
D Trolley Structural Material: thick cold‑rolled steel plate
E Heat‑dissipation Mode for Load Zone: Top turbo exhaust fan with upward exhaust (facilitates ambient‑temperature control)
F Inter‑layer Insulation and Anti‑static Solution: Sheet‑metal enclosure with heat‑dissipation holes on surface
G Trolley Structural Form: Test zone on lower part, load zone on upper part
H Cabinet Structure: Thermostatic‑controlled product zone
I Others: Smoke alarm is installed in the product zone of aging cabinet
2 Module Configuration, UUT Power Rating and Aging Capacity
A Module Control Method: CAN and RS485 communication; host computer adopts RS232 communication
B Installed Load Module Model: 0.1 mH, 250 A three‑phase inductor
C Power‑supply Module Model: 20 kW charging pile
D Module Isolation Mode: Photoelectric isolation for channels of electronic‑load modules (isolation for communication and power supply)
E Module Loading Mode: Reactive high‑current mode
F Module Design Architecture: Long‑service‑life design solution (independent intellectual property)
G Module Quantity Configuration: Each aging cabinet is equipped with 2 sets of charging piles, 2 inductors, 2 sets of auxiliary power supplies, and 1 master‑slave communication control board
H Quantity of Aged Products: One aging cabinet can age 2 units of MCU power supplies rated 200‑800 V; 12 units of products for full‑set aging
3 Electric Control & Temperature‑control Devices of Aging Cabinet
A Wiring Method: AC/DC and communication signals are connected to loads via adapter cables and docking terminals. (Customizable per customer requirements)
B Panel Function Keys: AC input‑voltage display, start switch, emergency‑stop switch
C Temperature‑control Performance of Product Zone: Closed‑type product zone with insulated glass door; temperature range: 50 ~ 85 ℃; temperature uniformity ±5 ℃; temperature rise from ambient to 85 ℃ within less than 20 minutes
D Temperature‑control Principle for Product Zone: Heating at low temperature, exhaust cooling upon over‑temperature; temperature is regulated by PLC PID control
E Trolley Power Distribution & Control: 380 V three‑phase five‑wire power distribution; monitored by computer
F Trolley Distribution Power: 13 kW*12 units /0.8 ≈ 60 kW. Given 80 % efficiency of power‑supply under test, total power for aging cabinet power supply, heating and exhaust is 97 kW. With 80 % energy‑saving efficiency, actual power consumption is calculated at approx. 170 kW.
