What is a 22.5° Electrofusion Elbow?
A PE100 electrofusion 22.5° elbow redirects a polyethylene pipeline by just 22.5 degrees over a long, sweeping arc. This ultra-low angle distributes the direction change across a longer length of pipe wall, cutting localised bending stress and reducing flow friction — a decisive advantage for long-run mains that operate continuously.
This large-diameter version is produced for DN180mm PE pipe, using the 4.0mm Fusamatic automatic pin which reads the correct welding parameters directly from the fitting — eliminating manual programming errors and guaranteeing consistent fusion quality.
Manufactured from virgin PE100 black polyethylene, rated PN16 for water and 10 bar for gas. Operating temperature range: -10°C to +40°C.
